Amazon Operations Specialist

We are seeking a results-driven Amazon Operations Specialist to support our Amazon Business within a growing consumer footwear brand. Reporting to the Manager, Amazon Development, this role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our Amazon business. You’ll gain hands-on experience maintaining the Amazon order book, coordinating new product launches, assisting with platform creative updates, and analyzing performance metrics, while collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure our presence on Amazon is optimized.

Key Responsibilities:

Support End-to-End Order Book Management

  • Coordinate with our Amazon partner on weekly replenishments, ensuring order deadlines are met.
  • Partner with Account Services to refine order book reporting, identify & elevate risks and opportunities within the order book, monitor pacing to forecast, and ensure all updates to order book value and changes are clearly communicated to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and own Amazon Forecast Consumption reporting, share pacing out each week with OOFOS supply chain partners.

Execute New Product Operations & Planning

  • Partner with merchandising to complete item set up.
  • Coordinate with OOFOS supply chain on new product buy timing and ensure our Amazon partner is clear on deliverables & deadlines each month.
  • Facilitate and align on new product forecasts with our Amazon partner.
  • Submit approved forecasts for monthly purchasing.
  • Build towards ownership of initial new product forecasts.
  • Maintaining accuracy between forecasted quantities actual order book (shipped, open, and reserved quantities), monitoring forecast consumption rates.

Inventory Planning & Optimization

  • Partner with Marketing Technology team to build and consistently monitor inventory reporting, providing daily and weekly snapshots of OOFO’s Amazon inventory position. Leverage on-hand and forecasted quantities to proactively identify and mitigate risks of overstock and stockouts.

Forecast & Trend Analysis

  • Review quarterly size curve trends by product. Ensure go forward forecasts are leveraging the most up to date insights.
  • Review returns rates & sellable/unsellable return rates monthly.

Finance & Accounting

  • Reconcile invoices associated with unsellable product returns, short shipments, and ad spending.
  • Address & resolve variances efficiently to ensure invoices can be approved in a timely manner.

Content & Copy

  • Execute content and copy enhancements for Seasonal updates, promotional events, and new product launches.
  • Brief creative teams on deliverables and timelines.
  • Deliver approved assets to Amazon partners.
  • Review & approve final drafts prior to publication.

Marketplace Reporting & Management

  • Monitor suppression reporting and partner with the Wholesale team to address MAP violations.
  • Regularly review OOFOS product line updates & MAP policy changes provided by Merchandising and the Wholesale team, ensuring all critical changes have been reviewed and implemented correctly within the Amazon assortment.
  • Build and maintain competitor tracking and reporting to analyze market activity, assess competitive offerings, and identify opportunities to grow the Amazon business.
  • Collaborate with Amazon partners to quantify the impact and take action against unauthorized sellers and rogue ASINs.
  • Collaborate with Amazon partners to develop reporting to track parent/child variation breaks, enabling early detection and efficient resolution.
  • Refine and report on key Amazon performance metrics, including sessions, conversion rate, buy box ownership, and BSR.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Operations or related field.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in sales operation, business operations or related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation) with ability to translate data into clear insights.
  • Experience with reporting tools, ERP, CRM, or B2B platforms. NetSuite, Envoy, Nuorder are a plus.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage high volumes of data accurately.
  • Ability to manage recurring deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Interest in consumer goods, footwear, or apparel preferred.

Job Type: Full time - Exempt, Hybrid based in Braintree, MA (Minimum 3 days onsite.)
