P.A.C.E.R. (Field Marketing Representative)

We are looking for a P.A.C.E.R. (Field Marketing Representative) to lead the way, and serve as the frontline extension of the OOFOS brand with retail partners, local communities, events, and experiential activations. This role is responsible for building authentic relationships, creating meaningful brand experiences, supporting retail education, driving product trial, capturing compelling content, and helping strengthen OOFOS' presence across key markets and vertical communities.
Working closely with the P.A.C.E. Lead (Field Team Lead) and GM, Run & Independent Specialty, this role helps bring OOFOS to life through grassroots engagement, community integration, retailer support, experiential storytelling, and product trial opportunities. The ideal candidate is energetic, relationship-driven, community-oriented, and passionate about helping people feel good through movement, recovery, and human connection.
Key Responsibilities:

Retail Education & Relationship Development
- Deliver product education and training sessions for retail associates, managers, and partner teams.
- Support seasonal product launches, retail education initiatives, and in-store activation programs.
- Educate retail teams on OOFOS technology, product benefits, recovery solutions, and brand storytelling.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail associates, store leadership, and local account partners.
- Support merchandising standards, product presentation, and consumer engagement initiatives within retail environments.
- Gather retailer feedback and marketplace insights to help improve educational tools and field programs.

Community Building, Product Trial & Vertical Engagement
- Build authentic relationships within running, walking, fitness, wellness, recovery, athletics, healthcare, and other strategic communities.
- Actively participate in local community events, run clubs, wellness programs, healthcare initiatives, and grassroots gatherings.
- Create and facilitate opportunities for consumers to experience OOFOS products through trial, wear-testing, educational experiences, and community engagement.
- Identify opportunities to introduce OOFOS into relevant community experiences and conversations.
- Develop relationships with community leaders, organizers, coaches, healthcare professionals, and local influencers.
- Support community outreach initiatives aligned with seasonal priorities, product launches, and brand campaigns.

Help drive awareness, trial, advocacy, and conversion through meaningful consumer interactions.

Events, Activations & Experiential Marketing
- Execute retail activations, race weekends, trade events, wellness experiences, healthcare activations, and community events.
- Represent OOFOS at local, regional, and national events as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic brand ambassador.
- Support event setup, teardown, merchandising, inventory management, logistics, and consumer engagement.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations, educational experiences, and product trial opportunities.
- Ensure all activations consistently reflect OOFOS' brand values, standards, and consumer experience expectations.

Content Capture & Storytelling
- Capture authentic photo, video, testimonial, and social-first content from retail visits, events, trainings, community experiences, and product trial moments.
- Identify meaningful stories, consumer feedback, community moments, and brand experiences that support OOFOS storytelling efforts.
- Share content opportunities, trends, and insights with the Team Lead and internal marketing teams.
- Support event recaps, activation summaries, and content-sharing initiatives.
- Stay connected to emerging trends within movement, wellness, recovery, and community culture.

Field Insights & Market Intelligence
- Gather consumer, retailer, and community feedback to help inform future programs and initiatives.
- Share observations regarding trends, opportunities, competitive activity, and market dynamics.
- Track participation, engagement, product trial activity, and activation results within assigned territories.
- Identify potential partnerships, community opportunities, and local growth initiatives.
- Provide timely field reports and insights to support ongoing business priorities.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in field marketing, experiential marketing, retail marketing, community engagement, retail training, brand ambassador programs, or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Passion for movement, wellness, recovery, healthcare, fitness, running, walking, and community culture.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to build authentic relationships across retailers, consumers, and community organizations.
- Comfortable facilitating product education and leading consumer engagement conversations.
- Experience with event execution, grassroots marketing, community programming, or product sampling programs preferred.
- Experience capturing content using mobile devices and social platforms preferred. Familiarity with social media platforms and content-sharing best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Experience with CRM, retail execution, or field reporting platforms is preferred.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working independently.

Physical Requirements:
- Drives to visit accounts – may drive more than 8 hours in one day.
- Ability to travel frequently, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and transport activation materials and event equipment as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
This position is remote and based in Northern Virginia, VA. Relocation is not offered for this role.
