Kris Hartner is an elite runner and the founder of Naperville Running Company. He envisioned a place where runners could connect, improve and inspire one another to keep going. His passion for running, backed by expertise in biomechanics and footwear, helped him understand early that taking care of the body matters for athletes and non-athletes alike. With the innovative
thinking behind OOFOS, he saw purpose-built technology that could help more people feel better and keep moving.
Kris Hartner recognized the potential of recovery technology and became the first run-specialty retailer to bring OOFOS to his customers.

Jenny Nguyen is the founder and CEO of The Sports Bra, a Portland sports bar created to put
women’s sports where they belong: at center stage. She encountered roadblocks along the way, but engaged her community to help bring that vision to life and they rallied behind her. What began as the welcoming space she and her friends could never find has grown into a movement—giving women’s sports and historically underrepresented communities greater visibility, representation and belonging.
Jenny Nguyen saw a need no one had answered and created something entirely new to meet it.

Martinus Evans founded the Slow AF Run Club for runners who had been overlooked, underestimated or left behind. After repeatedly being told that his size and pace meant he wasn’t a “real” runner, he created the inclusive community he couldn’t find anywhere else. Today, tens of thousands have found support through the club, its app and his book—all built around one powerfully original belief: running belongs to anyone who chooses to run.
Martinus Evans challenged conventional thinking and opened an experience to people who previously felt like outsiders.
